Child and Youth Workers provide assistance and counselling to children and adolescents going through difficult situations regarding family issues, mistreatment, bullying, discrimination, and substance abuse. Child and youth care workers view the behaviour of children and youth from a developmental perspective and they design interventions that build on the existing strengths and abilities of the individual.
